We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursery Nurse to join our vibrant team. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and well-being of young children, ensuring their safety and happiness while fostering their growth through engaging activities.
Responsibilities
* Provide attentive and responsive care to children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
* Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with early years frameworks.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues in English to build strong relationships and support children's learning.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating nursery environment that encourages exploration and play.
* Manage daily routines including meal times, nap times, and hygiene practices.
* Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and sharing insights with parents.
* Collaborate with team members to create a positive atmosphere that supports teamwork and leadership within the nursery setting.
Experience
* Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential.
* A qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively interact with children and families.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm demeanour in a busy environment.
* A valid driving licence is advantageous for potential off-site activities or visits.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.00-£12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

* 10 hour shift

Education:
* GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
* Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
* Nursery experience: 2 years (preferred)
* Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
* Management: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
* Driving Licence (preferred)
Willingness to travel:
* 25% (preferred)
