Our client is a well-established company looking for a Handyperson to join their team. This role will be based across various sites, carrying out a range of general building repairs and maintenance tasks.
Your new role
As a Handyperson, you will be responsible for:
1. Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across various sites.
2. Completing general building tasks, including joinery, tiling, painting, brickwork, paving, drainage, and plumbing.
3. Assisting with facilities support, such as furniture assembly, site clearance, and keeping areas clean and tidy.
4. Responding to out-of-hours alarm activations when required.
5. Ensuring all work follows health and safety policies, identifying hazards, and conducting risk assessments.
6. Working independently or as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently.
7. Recording all work completed in the internal PMR system.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A broad range of maintenance and repair skills.
2. The ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
3. Basic IT skills (training on in-house systems will be provided).
4. Flexibility and the ability to adapt to different tasks.
5. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
6. A full UK driving licence.
