RELOCATION OPPORTUNITY - Quest Search & Selection are currently working for one of the largest commercial employers within retail in The Channel Islands. They are keen to speak to candidates that are open to relocation for a career opportunity to run one of their key supermarket stores on the island of Jersey.
This business has seen YOY growth within their food division & operate stores across both islands for a reputable high street brand.
Responsibilities of this Store Manager - Supermarket & Convenience position -
1. To take overall accountability of the P&L and legalities of your own store.
2. Lead the Compliance and Health & Safety processes of the store.
3. To lead and coach store teams in exceeding their job roles and having an active succession plan in place for future roles on the region.
4. KPIs focus on measurable around both financial and non-financial targets.
5. Take responsibility for wage budgets and have a proactive plan for absentee management.
6. Work proactively and in partnership with your HR BP & Regional Manager.
To be successful in this Store Manager - Supermarket & Convenience you must -
1. Have store management experience within convenience or small supermarket retail.
2. Deal with turnovers of circa £40,000 - £120,000+ per week.
3. Have full accountability of the whole store's daily operations, P&L, and legalities.
4. Have used proactive methods to develop your store.
5. Have a track record of success in managing in an autonomous retail environment.
6. Be self-motivated and driven, and able to communicate well with your team, customers, and senior leadership in the business.
