The Equipment Repair and Maintenance Specialist is a group wide role and has two main functions; To repair and maintain the aesthetics of the Live Production loudspeaker rental stock, flight cases, dollies and to fabricate custom metal / woodwork as required and to support the Building Maintenance & Health and Safety Manager in the general upkeep of the UK Sites.

Day to day tasks:
Preparing standards and schedules of work and the execution of equipment maintenance programs.
Schedule and maintain the annual repair program of the live productions loudspeaker stock including flight case repairs.
Maintenance of the Paint Booth Equipment (pressure pots/top loaders).
Estimate project costs and manage budgets.
Routine maintenance work, such as painting, repair of movable property, carpentry, plumbing, lighting change, etc.
Make minor repairs and liaise with tradespeople when major repairs need to be made.
Plan, oversee and/or undertake maintenance to external building works and car parks.
Any other reasonable ad-hoc requests as required by management.
Essential skills / experience:
Insightful in identifying problems both within H&S and buildings maintenance.
Understanding of laws and regulations governing buildings.
Knowledge and understanding of all aspects of health, safety and risk management.
Understanding of current health and safety legislation, management and standards.
Knowledge of heating appliances and systems, electricity, plumbing, fire safety.
Availability to respond to emergency calls and travel as needed.
Flexibility to work reasonable extra hours as required in addition to your normal hours of work for the proper performance of your duties and as necessitated by the needs of our business.
Good administration skills.
Excellent organisational skills.
Extensive experience in the building trade.
Desirable Skills / experience:
A certificate as a skilled worker in one or more trades.
COSHH qualification.
IOSH qualification.
Audio industry experience
Level of education:
Educated to industry related degree level or equivalent.
Work experience:
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant role.
