Job Description
Position Summary: Join Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. as a Training Lead in Swindon, UK, develop and implement sustainable cGMP training to ensure a well-trained workforce and in compliance with all regulations.
Responsibilities:
1. Own and craft the health of training at the site.
2. Develop detailed training programs and implement in partnership with Department Managers and Specialists.
3. Build and deliver value-adding training aligned with organisational goals, adhering to GMP requirements and company policies.
4. Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for the Success Factors Learning Management System, improving training efficiencies.
5. Conduct gap analyses of Authority regulations, global documents, and audit observations, and adjust training programs accordingly.
6. Coordinate and support site-wide training administrators to ensure cohesive training delivery and recording.
7. Develop measurement criteria to assess the efficiency of training and monitor compliance metrics, reporting key learning metrics to site leadership.
8. Facilitate site onboarding programs and support apprenticeships and intern placements.
9. Champion Global training initiatives at a site level.
10. Implement a standardised competence-based program for department trainers.
11. Deputise for the Quality Systems & Compliance Manager when needed.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
1. CIPD qualified or similar, with experience in rolling out specialist training activities in a manufacturing setting. Pharmaceutical experience is advantageous.
2. Dynamic proactive approach to tackling meaningful assignments.
3. Creativity and excellent presentational skills.
4. Ability to work within critical timelines.
5. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
6. A high degree of self-motivation and independence.
