The Head of IT Operations is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the IT Infrastructure, Support and Security functions, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of IT services to support the business objectives. This role is responsible for ensuring system reliability and performance while leading a team of IT professionals. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the IT operations team, providing direction, support, and development opportunities. IT Infrastructure: Oversee the management and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and telecommunications. Service Delivery: Ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services to internal and external customers, meeting agreed service levels and performance targets. Incident and Problem Management: Manage the resolution of IT incidents and problems, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Project Management: Lead and participate in IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, manage IT security to protect the company's data and systems. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and value for money. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving IT operations and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. About You Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience in a senior IT operations role, with a track record of managing IT infrastructure and service delivery. Strong leadership and management skills, with experience of leading and developing a team. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong project management skills, with experience of managing IT projects. Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
