Contract:
42 hours per week Monday to Friday - between 9am and 3pm, with an additional sleep 9pm-7 or 9am (depending on the house or location) and one day being a 12 hour shift per week, plus one weekend shift will can be either a 6 or 12 hour shift.
Optional additional hours available with two extra sleeps each week you could earn up to £42,728 per annum or more!
Nevaeh Homes pays hourly for a sleep as other providers who pay a set allowance for a sleep.

Nevaeh Homes:
Nevaeh Homes provides is an Ofsted Registered semi-independent accommodation provider and support to young people aged 16-24 years old in Nottingham. Our homes are staffed 24/7 so this role will be on a shift pattern and would require all staff to work evenings, weekends and do sleep ins.
This position involves delivering support to Young People aged 16 – 18+ living within semi-independent placements. The support will be based around a living package of structured key work sessions to vulnerable young people.
Young people may have a history of trauma and as a result may struggle with regulating their emotions therefore may display challenging behaviour (including physical)
Nevaeh is specialised in working with vulnerable young people at risk of sexual and criminal exploitation and young mothers. Our aim at Nevaeh Homes is to provide a homely environment to young people with intensive one: one support, raise awareness of exploitation, grooming, how to keep safe, develop independent living skills, provide advocacy, advice, and guidance.
The young people we support are placed in semi-independent group homes and self-contained accommodations within the Nottingham area.
Minimum Age:
Due to the nature of the job and statutory regulations we are unable to take on staff members whose age is too close to our client groups. We will not consider any candidates who are under the age of 21.
Expectations:
We are looking for a House Supervisor to join our friendly team who will lead by example and provide safety, support, care, guidance, nurture and a secure base for the young people that we support.
The house supervisor will be responsible for managing all aspects of running the home, for medium to long term planned placements to ensure young people are supported and prepared to move on to independent living.
To ensure that high levels of emotional and physical care, appropriate activities, comfortable accommodation, and the service of keyworkers are planned, provided, and applied in accordance with the home’s plans and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. To be responsible for the co-ordination and development of a range of quality services for young people referred and/or accommodated within the home.
2. To promote the practice of working in partnership with young people, their families, other staff within Nevaeh Home Ltd, and other agencies, in order to meet the needs of young people.
3. To take a lead and proactive role in setting standards within the home in line with Nevaeh Homes Ltd the quality of service.
4. To allocate and delegate tasks to the staff team in order to ensure that work is focused and has clear direction.
5. To be responsible for ensuring a full flow of information into and out of the team.
6. To develop effective communication strategies and systems which assist staff in the operation of their duties.
7. To take a lead role in the allocation of a range of services provided to meet the identified needs of young people.
8. To ensure that the staff team are enabled to undertake such duties with young people.
9. To be responsible for the effective management and development of a range of quality direct services to young people.
10. To ensure that the policies and procedures of Nevaeh Homes Ltd are implemented.
11. To ensure that all Health and Safety Regulations are complied with in accordance with Nevaeh Homes Ltd, procedures and practices.
12. To ensure effective control and management of the homes finances through clear record keeping, complying with the expectations of Nevaeh Homes Ltd procedures.

The ideal candidate will:
* Have relevant experience working with young people aged 16-18.
* Have experience in working with young people that have experienced CSE and CCE. (Desirable but not exceptional)
* Be able to build positive relationships with young people.
* Lead by example to a team.
* Have good communication skills written and verbal.
* Have a good understanding and awareness of safeguarding issues.
* Be able to stay calm in challenging situations.
* Be committed to achieving positive outcomes for young people.
* Feel comfortable both lone-working and with other team members.
