Responsible for delivering safe, efficient support to the quayside operations by application of a range of skills in the operation of quayside plant and machinery in compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, industry best practice, and company procedures. Working 7 days on 7 days off, 07:30 to 20:00 with a flexible start/finish time of plus or minus 2.5 hours, key responsibilities include:
* Conducting daily checks of plant and machinery and completing associated compliance documentation.
* Operating plant and machinery at the quayside or other designated areas.
* Adhering to HSSEQ safe working practice, manufacturer's guidelines, and Global Lifting Procedures.
* Assisting Fitters as and when required in the maintenance of cranes.
* Visually inspecting cargo prior to forklift operations and in compliance with operation procedures.
* Ensuring all work is carried out in a safe manner, in accordance with ASCO procedures.
* Ensure the correct use of Forklifts and Lifting equipment as set out in legislative and procedural policy.
* Ad hoc duties as required in line with applicable training/competency assessments undertaken.
Minimum Competencies (Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviours):
* Accustomed to working effectively in a fast-paced environment, flexible and can adapt to changing workloads and priorities, where high standards are not compromised under pressure.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to maintain positive work relationships.
* Ability to work stand-alone while remaining a positive contributor to the wider team.

* Strong safety awareness
* I.T. literate.
Minimum Qualifications:
* LGV Class 2 Licence for mobile crane drivers
* CPCS Competent Person card/NPORS certificate Stage 3 offshore Crane Operator Certificate.
* 5-15T Counterbalance Forklift Truck
Desirable Qualifications/Competencies:
* HSE related training
* Mobile Elevating Platform Certificate
* Working at Height Certificate
