Salary: up to £28,000 p.a. depending on experience
About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Communications Executive to join our Membership Marketing team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering and monitoring integrated marketing communications to support our customer acquisition and retention strategy across a wide range of membership and enterprise products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop a deep understanding of the Institute's business offerings, customers, and market.
* Implement marketing plans across multiple channels to build awareness, generate sales, and increase customer engagement and retention.
* Execute acquisition and retention communication activities promoting professional registrations and Digital T Levels.
* Manage and deliver project events to support marketing objectives.
* Create communications using CRM solutions, including but not limited to Salesforce and HubSpot; knowledge of HTML5 is advantageous.
* Ensure all communications comply with GDPR regulations.
* Optimize customer journeys through User Experience (UX) strategies.
* Collaborate closely with the wider Marketing team and other internal stakeholders.
* Manage external programme partnerships to deliver initiatives on time and within budget.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in developing and implementing marketing campaigns across various channels.
* Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to express the BCS tone of voice effectively.
* Previous use of email marketing tools, CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), and social media tools (e.g., Hootsuite, SEMRush, Meta).
* Experience in event management and delivering project goals.
* Knowledge of digital marketing techniques and GDPR regulations.
* Excellent planning, organization, and communication skills.
* Ability to analyse data and produce management information on communications activity.
* Membership of a Professional Body (e.g., CIM, IDM) or equivalent and a professional qualification in marketing is desirable.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong presentation skills and the ability to work under pressure and to timescales.
Special Conditions:
* Some travel within the UK/internationally, including occasional overnight stays and out-of-hours working, attending events, and presentations.
