To assemble, test, and inspect products in line with production requirements.
Responsibilities:
1. Assembly/manufacture of components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies of production and/or development products.
2. Inspection and testing of products, including operation of automatic test equipment.
3. Responsibility for self-inspection, requiring high levels of accuracy and quality of work.
4. Training in operations such as welding, brazing, coil winding, encapsulation, soldering, and machine operation.
Qualifications/Experience of the Assembly Operator:
1. No formal qualifications are necessary, but applicants must possess basic numerical and literacy skills.
2. Must meet stringent Visual Acuity standards, including color blindness and depth perception.
3. Previous experience within a similar assembly environment with proven mechanical or electrical skills is required.
4. Self-inspection responsibility necessitates a high level of accuracy and quality of work.
5. Ability to work to processes and procedures and meet required performance targets.
6. Must be able to work in a team environment.
