THE ROLE: The scope of the role As an Event Executive you will be part of a fun, highly driven Sales and Events team working closely with all departments across the Resort. From the minute your Sales colleague hands over the signed contract your primary focus will be to provide exceptional customer service working in partnership with our clients and your Cameron Clan colleagues to produce a 5 star memorable event. Event Planning Executive Under the guidance of the Event Office Manager, you will be responsible for working within the Conference & Events Sales team to provide exceptional service, maintain high standards, maximise client satisfaction and hotel profitability whilst being compliant with local and corporate standard operating procedures. The key responsibilities of the position will be: Ensuring complete detailed handover to the planning team for events being handed over at contract stage. Respond to client enquiries and requests in a timely manner, adhering to company SLAs. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their event requirements and provide relevant information. Develop comprehensive and tailored event proposals based on client needs and preferences. Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for proposal creation. Work closely with the sales team to support and contribute to the achievement of sales targets. Build and maintain positive relationships with clients through effective communication and follow-up. Address client concerns and inquiries with professionalism and a solutions-oriented mindset. Site Inspections Client liaison throughout the planning process Providing innovative set-ups and functions Maximise upselling opportunities. Liaison with operational teams Client account management and booking/planning processes in Delphi FDC, Resort Suite and other systems. Generation of detailed Function Sheets Develop and maintain strong working relationships with required departments. Attend daily & weekly group & events meetings and other meetings as required. Meet and greet clients on event days and continually build profitable working relationships. Communicate daily with the Events Manager Customers follow up – through chases on all prospect and tentative business. Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, open days and sales blitzes.
