My client is a well-established manufacturing business that is consolidating their Global Group function in Carlisle. They have embarked on a period of exciting change within the Finance department, having recently appointed a new senior leadership team. The business aims to continue growth through M&A strategy.
Job Description
* Ownership for the UK business within the Group
* Management of a team of 5
* Supporting the Group Financial Controller to deliver Financial Reporting to agreed timetable
* Supporting the Group Financial Controller in the development and implementation of improved systems & controls
* VAT compliance for UK businesses
* Monthly reporting suite to highlight cost vs budget for various business units and functions alongside business partnering with budget owners to control costs
* Ownership and reporting of credit card spend / travel & subsistence budget
* Business partnering Site Leads at all UK sites, communicating monthly trading results and highlighting improvement opportunities
* Oversight and development of more junior members of the finance team
* Ad hoc reports / analysis & projects to support the business
The Successful Applicant
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
* Strong attention to detail
* Show drive and ambition
* Technical IFRS knowledge would be advantageous
