Job Title : Care Support Worker A&E

Main duties of the job
What you'll be responsible for :
1. Monitoring patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations, and weight.
2. Assisting in the delivery of patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse
3. Ensuring that the patient is the prime focus when making decisions about their care and wellbeing.
4. Assisting patients with compassion when undertaking normal activities of daily living whilst ensuring that privacy, dignity, and human rights are respected.
5. The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above

Job Title : - Care Support Worker - Acute & General
Trust : - Royal Devon University Healthcare Trust
Location : - Main sites are Royal Devon (Wonford Hospital) Exeter and North Devon District Hospital Barnstaple, other areas are Exmouth/Sidmouth/Honiton/Tiverton.
Pay Rates : £ - £
Shift Patterns : 7:30am to 3:30pm, 7:30am to 12:30pm, 9am to 5pm, 12:30pm to 8:30pm, 3:30pm to 8:30pm, 8pm to 8am

What youll need:
10. Minimum of 6 monthsAcute HCSW UK (Private, NHS or Armed Forces) hospital/hospice experience withinthe last 2 years

Qualifications
Essential
20. All Care support worker roles will be required to provide evidence of completing the Care Certificate or a relevant qualification. Evidence accepted includes:
21. Student Nurse with at least 12 weeks clinical placements.
22. Care Certificate from an NHS Organisation
23. QCF Level 2 Diploma in Healthcare Support Services issued after 2011
24. QCF Level 2 OR above Diploma in Health & Social Care or Clinical Healthcare Support issued after 2011
25. QCF Level 3 OR above Diploma in Healthcare Support or Maternity & Paediatric Support issued after 2011 (For Paediatric & Maternity roles only)
26. Degree /Diploma in Nursing and currently do not have an NMC Registration.
