We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join schools around Enfield and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning to children in Key Stage 1, ensuring they develop essential skills in literacy, numeracy, and personal development. Beginning March 2025.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
* Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
* Use a range of teaching strategies to support different learning styles and abilities.
* Monitor student progress, assess learning outcomes, and provide constructive feedback.
* Work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and other staff to support each child's development.
* Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils at all times.
Ideal KS1 Teacher:
* A degree in Education or a related subject.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
* Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and child development.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching as a KS1 Teacher.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
