Production Operative – Afters
Location: Kirkby in Ashfield
Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour
We are currently seeking dedicated Production Operatives to join a growing team based in Kirkby in Ashfield. This is a full-time, ongoing position offering the opportunity for growth within a supportive working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Machine Operation: Operating woodworking machinery and supporting the production team in manufacturing various products. This includes ensuring all machinery is used safely and effectively.
• Tool Use: Utilising air, power, and hand tools to carry out various tasks in the production process, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
• Manual Handling: Performing manual lifting, loading, and moving of materials, products, or machinery as needed to ensure smooth operations on the production line.
• Quality Control: Ensuring products meet quality standards and specifications, checking items for defects, and reporting any issues promptly.
• Health and Safety: Adhering to all company health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• General Production Support: Assisting with general duties to support the production process.
Requirements:
• Experience: Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is beneficial but not essential. (Full training provided to individuals with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.)
• Attention to Detail: A strong eye for detail is crucial in ensuring that products meet the required quality standards.
• Time Management: Good time-management skills are essential to efficiently complete tasks within the working hours.
• Teamwork: Must be able to work well within a team, cooperating with colleagues and supervisors to meet production goals and maintain a positive working environment.
