Available because of promotion, you will be working within our Pricing, Planning and Performance function, reporting directly into the Head of Pricing, Planning and Performance. This is a supportive and friendly team that actively offers personal development and core skills such as; fundamental analytics, stakeholder engagement, market and competitor research, and presentational skills.
As our Pricing Analyst, You will be reviewing market dynamics, consumer behaviour, and other factors that influence pricing decisions. You will use this knowledge to influence and develop the production and review of changes to our mortgage pricing structure, which will in turn provide a fair but profitable return. As the subject matter expert, you will quickly adapt to the different business needs to ensure we have the right recommendation and strategy in place.
Purpose of What you’ll be doing day to day:
* Work with the Head of Pricing, Planning and Performance and Planning to deploy and develop the pricing strategy
* Work with the team to maximise identified markets and customer segments in terms of positive customer outcomes while protecting margin
* With support from the team, you will understand what pricing changes are occurring in our market, and why they are occurring
* Ensure pricing will drive customer value, adhering to relevant regulation
* Work with Product Managers to produce pricing outputs, understanding, scenarios and sensitivities around required changes
* Work with Planning and Performance function to input future changes into the budgeting and forecasting process, detailing what financial benefits will be brought
* Work with Finance to understand, and challenge inputs provided into the modelling process, providing them with timing requirements of deliverables
* Production of data suite to understand key performance and risk indicators and use to support and influence discussions with key stakeholders
Qualifications
We don't expect you to have done this job before! If you have previously worked as an analyst to review data and information to provide recommendations, then this role will be perfect for you.
