Facilities Maintenance Engineer (Refrigeration)
Location: Stevenage
Carbon60 are looking to recruit an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join their client's continuously growing site in Stevenage. You would be working for one of the largest Facilities Management companies in the world overseeing the planned maintenance on site, offering stability, progression and more than just a career.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm
Salary: £45,000 + Benefits
Duties:
1. Maintenance of equipment and utilities to ensure appropriate and correct operation, to operate within specification while ensuring that records are maintained efficiently and reliably as required by Operational, Regulatory and Statutory practice.
2. Accountable for ensuring that Regulatory activities are carried out, in compliance with the company's Quality System and the Company IMS as defined in company Cross Site SOPs, Processes, local SOPs together with any adopted procedures.
3. Take ownership of all refrigeration and associated systems, and ensure all Regulatory items associated with these are compliant including all F Gas requirements.
4. Provide technical support for projects and assist with commissioning and hand over works for plant and user equipment.
5. First line diagnostics and planning of the required remedial work.
6. Recognise spares requirements, order spares, and make stock items as necessary.
7. Be fully aware of Service Level Agreements between employer and client to ensure its requirements are met.
Skills:
1. Demonstrable evidence of multi-skilled technical qualifications including refrigeration / F-Gas training.
2. A good level of interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
3. Strong organisation, prioritisation, and communication skills.
4. Ability to work to time constraints and prioritise tasks according to the needs of the business.
5. Innovative and focused on continuous improvement.
6. Operational experience of a multi-site environment, including understanding of related SLA / KPIs.
