This post would suit someone looking to start a career in the subject or someone with experience in the profession. The successful candidate will teach Sixth Form classes in this ambitious and successful Department and play a full role in the life of this busy and friendly boarding school.
Cranleigh is a leading fully co-educational independent boarding and day Senior School comprising around 700 girls and boys ages 13 – 18. There is also a Preparatory School in close proximity.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable professional who can effectively communicate their passion for Business Studies, bringing some humour and subject knowledge with them. The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of and a genuine enthusiasm for Business Studies and will likely hold a good honours degree in Business Studies or a related subject. He/she will be self-motivated and relish the challenge presented by being part of a successful, forward-thinking Department. A commitment to students, the department and the broader life of the School, plus a firm grasp of curricular developments, are essential, as is empathy, being well-organised, a sense of humour and the ability to enhance the department’s delivery and development of Business Studies.
The successful candidate will be expected to get involved in all aspects of this busy boarding school (which would typically include one evening duty per week), including being a Tutor to a group of students within a Boarding House. All teachers are expected to contribute to the School’s co-curricular programme and co-curricular activities alongside their academic responsibilities.
