Days & Hours: We are looking for 2 Support Workers to cover the following shifts: Every other weekend: 3.00pm-12:00am Saturday and 2.00pm-10.00pm Sunday. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 9.00am-10.00pm - these timings are approximate and flexibility will be required particularly during school holiday periods. Bank support workers also required.
Pay: £14.50 per hour, Monday to Friday (Days), £15:50 per hour, Weekends and Bank holidays (Days) £15.50 per hour, Monday to Friday (Waking Nights, 10:00pm to 6.00am), £16.50 per hour Weekends, (Waking Nights, 10:00pm to 6.00am)

Using Own Vehicle for work purposes? Yes, On duty and to attend trainings
Essential Experience: Caring for others

We are seeking patient and caring Support Workers for our client, who was born in. She lives at home with her mother and brother who are very important to her. She really enjoys listening to hip hop and R&B music and watches soap operas and Peppa Pig on TV. She attends church every Sunday and especially enjoys hearing the singing. Our client and her family are well known in the church community. She also attends a day centre twice a week where she enjoys activities such as baking, crafts, and games. Our client has many friends and local family that she attends birthday parties and outings with.
At birth, our client sustained injuries causing Cerebral Palsy, she has limited mobility so requires assistance for all transfers, where possible, exercises and stretches are incorporated into her daily life. She has gastric reflux and can endure severe abdominal pain and at times is unable to leave her bed. She can eat soft foods and drink thin liquids and is able to swallow her medication in tablet form. She has a live-in carer who has been with the family for over 10 years and due to the complexity of her disabilities requires 2:1 care for some activities.
Your role as a Support Worker will be to assist our client to meet their personal care needs which will include; dressing/undressing, bathing, managing continence needs, eating and drinking, and to encourage her to participate in these activities. You will be required to provide domestic assistance alongside the client's mother to ensure a healthy, clean and safe environment is maintained. You will be required to administer medication and be aware of emotional, behavioural, and communication difficulties as a result of her Cerebral Palsy.

Pay and Benefits:
