Join Our Team as an A-Level Physics Teacher
Activate Learning is a pioneering education group which exists to transform lives through learning. We are now looking to recruit an enthusiastic and inspiring A-Level Physics Teacher to join our Reading College team on a full-time basis.
This post provides an excellent opportunity for a teacher with passion and drive who is committed to enabling our students to unlock their potential and switch on to the power of learning.
This is a permanent, full-time role of 37 hours per week.
In this position, Physics Teacher, you may be eligible to apply for an additional payment of up to £6000 from the Targeted Retention Incentive payment scheme. This is available for eligible teachers in their first 5 years of teaching in Further Education.
What do you need to be a successful Physics Teacher at Activate Learning?
Successful candidates will have an appropriate professional qualification and/or a degree, preferably with some teaching experience. While we would prefer applications from qualified teachers who hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification, we would consider applications from unqualified applicants, with the ability to inspire our learners and a willingness to complete a teaching qualification.
In addition, you will need to have a flexible approach, coupled with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. You will demonstrate the ability to engage and develop students and role model the attributes that we develop within our learners.
