We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Primary Care Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Bullingdon, a category B Prison located in Bicester, Oxford.
HMP Bullingdon is a male remand prison that has a capacity for 1,152 and offers 24 hours healthcare with an inpatient unit on-site.
Hours
This will include working day shifts, night shifts, weekend work, bank holidays, and evening shifts in all areas of the prison.
Salary
This position is full time, and you'll receive an annual salary up to £52,507 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
As a Senior Primary Care Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
* Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse-led service and prevent hospital admissions.
* Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening.
* Use your skills and knowledge to deliver nurse-led clinics to your patient group while being supported by a multi-disciplinary team.
* Contribute to our nursing strategy and vision to provide outstanding evidence-based care to our patients, seeking out, listening to, and acting on their feedback, so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them.
* Deliver non-judgemental care that makes a real difference, as defined throughout our bespoke Health in Justice competency framework.
What we'll look for in you
* Registered nurse - Adult
* Current professional qualification (NMC)
* Evidence of Continued Professional Development
* Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
* A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
* Understanding of clinical governance, health and safety, QOF, EBP, and national standards
