We're looking for a passionate and experienced Materials Planning Manager to join our dynamic Planning team at The Cornwall Bakery, part of the respected Samworth Brothers group.As our Materials Planning Manager, you'll take charge of the end-to-end materials supply process, ensuring the seamless coordination of suppliers, production teams, procurement, and the wider supply chain. Your goal? Delivering outstanding customer service at optimum cost while mitigating material risks and driving continuous improvement across operations. Lead and develop the Materials Planning team through coaching, support, and training. Ensure material availability through accurate forecasting and supplier management. Collaborate across teams to resolve material quality or supply issues. Conduct supplier reviews and support procurement with demand insights. Champion continuous improvement in processes, inventory, cost, and waste reduction. Monitor performance using KPIs and drive strategic actions from data insights.
