About the role
Our Marketing team are looking for an experienced analyst with a broad range of skills to join them. As a Digital Marketing Analyst the role will be sourcing, analysing and critically interpreting data to generate insight that informs the commercial performance of our paid and owned-channel Digital Marketing.
This role supports both the continuous improvement of our websites, and the evaluation of optimisation of our paid and owned Marketing activity. Using media, channel and business performance data from multiple sources to evaluate marketing effectiveness and website performance and making key recommendations for improvement.
Providing timely and relevant reporting, this is a key role within Marketing, enabling us to monitor and adapt performance media, seasonal Marketing campaigns and owned channel promotional strategies to drive overall business performance.
Working with Digital Managers and third party suppliers, this role plays a key part in prioritising and supporting change in our analytical capabilities ( Adobe Analytics, Adobe Data Collection, Google Analytics) to maximise our Digital MI capability.

The team operate on a hybrid basis and are on-site at least 1 day a week after training.
About you
Bringing with you strong Marketing knowledge, combined with practical experience of building insightful reporting using data analytics tools, excel and other technologies, you’ll be confident in your understanding of analytics capability and able to work with technical and non-technical teams.
You’ll have curiosity to drive meaningful and actionable insights and to develop the insight narrative, combined with the ability to tailor to your audience. Well-organised and adaptable, you’ll be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
To be successful in this role it’s essential you have:
9. Recent experience of Adobe and Google Analytics from a marketing and web perspective.
10. Demonstrable analytical skills working with complex data and developing meaningful insight
11. Evidence of working with stakeholders at all levels, with good influencing skills
12. Attention to detail with the ability to produce high quality, accurate reporting
13. Offer creative solutions and to present these in simple, engaging and visual ways.
14. Good communication and strong decision making skills
Desirable experience needed will be:
15. Technical understanding of tag management and data collection rules or willingness to learn.
16. Experience from a financial services background
17. Experience working with development teams and third party suppliers
