Job Description Master Scheduler Full Time Derby What you will be doing An exciting opportunity has arisen for ab experienced Planning & Control individual to fill the position of Master Scheduler in Derby. The Master Scheduler will support the Head of Planning in the co-ordination, planning and scheduling of Planning & Control activities as well as supporting the Sales and Operations planning process for the Manufacturing Business Unit. Responsibilities: In this role you will be l eading the creation and maintenance of MBU Long Term forecasts, including the preparation of scenarios for evaluation only, including but not limited to, medium / long-term forecasts, high scenarios and customer rate readiness requests. you will also be involved in : The preparation and co-ordination of SIOP demand cascade and facilitate the aggregation of the supply response, ensuring commitment acceptance is completed on-time and exceptions resolved to remove excessive risk. Supporting Planning & Control related change for the commodities/ supply chain value stream, own and manage the master planning schedule for key changes happening across the MBU. Support Operating Business Unit level inventory management. Support the Head of Planning in the inventory budgeting and management activity including Ownership of MBU HQ inventory. Provide oversight on the status on unsourced work orders and ensure transition to the relevant area within the Operating Business Unit. Robust knowledge of Planning & Control, SAP and/or MRP. Power BI knowledge and proficient in Excel and Microsoft tools. Strong people skills experience. Demonstratable experience within planning, manufacturing, or supply chain. The ability to communicate with all parts of the business including internal and external stakeholders.
