We are seeking an experienced and dynamic School Business Manager to join our well-run and financially sustainable school. This pivotal role is both strategic and sometimes operational and involves ensuring there are effective financial management, HR, premises and administrative functions in place.
The Role:
As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will manage our team of non-teaching staff and lead on financial and administrative operations. You will also take on the role of Data Protection Officer, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Qualifications and Training:
* Relevant qualifications in business management or related field
* Evidence of continuing professional development
Experience:
* Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting
* Experience in managing teams and leading projects
Skills and Knowledge:
* Strong financial acumen and understanding of school funding
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Knowledge of data protection regulations and compliance
* Proficiency in IT systems related to finance and administration
Personal Qualities:
* Ability to prioritise effectively
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships
