Position Overview
We are looking for a Community Activities Organiser who will be responsible for developing and facilitating a wide range of community activities for people living with dementia and their carers/families with a view to helping them to maintain social activities, relationships and community connections.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and facilitate community activities for individuals living with dementia.
2. Support the maintenance of social activities, relationships, and community connections.
3. Provide compassionate support during times of difficulty or distress.
4. Engage effectively with both individuals and groups.
5. Participate in relevant training and professional development.
Qualifications
The successful applicant will have:
1. A positive approach to dementia.
2. Flexibility, inclusivity, creativity, and organizational skills.
3. Excellent communication skills.
4. A relevant qualification and experience working with people with dementia (preferred).

Occasional evening and weekend work may be required, and a driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential to the role.
