About the Role Reporting to the Finance Director for Technology, Property & Central Functions, you will play a key role in shaping financial strategy and driving business value within the Technology unit. You will also: • Partner with Directors and teams to optimise Technology costs and maximise business impact. • Ensure accurate financial reporting, providing insightful, KPI-driven analysis to improve performance. • Analyse supplier costs, identify cost drivers, and collaborate with procurement to reduce spend. • Maintain a forward-looking IT cost dataset to enhance forecasting and decision-making. • Oversee technology people costs, ensuring robust financial planning for capital recoveries. • Support commercial decisions through financial modelling for business cases and contract renewals. • Step in for the Finance Director for Technology, Property & Central Functions when required. About You: • Qualified accountant with 5 years PQE • Strong communicator, able to simplify financial concepts for non-financial stakeholders. • Adept at handling large datasets from multiple sources with strong analytical skills. • Skilled in influencing senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, matrix environment. • Strategic thinker with experience driving high-level financial planning discussions. • Strong modelling and performance management expertise. • Excellent presenter, able to deliver clear insights without losing context.
