Position Summary
We are looking for a colleague to join our team in Southampton, UK as an Enterprise Account Executive. In this position, you will focus on sourcing and securing new sales from inbound leads derived through a well-established network and customer base. You will provide all direct sales activity required to support the ongoing development of existing and prospective customers to ensure achievement of growth targets and key performance objectives.
What will you do in our team?
* Identify, develop, and sell UPS/Thermal Management & IRS products;
* Establish Vertiv as a supplier of choice by building sustainable long-term relationships with the customer base;
* Manage, track & close sales opportunities through quotation selection and C1 Quote Platform;
* Secure order intake and coordinate necessary sales/marketing support activity;
* Work with the Accounts Director to design and execute a sales strategy to target account growth;
* Contribute to forecast, pipeline reviews, and project coordination meetings;
* Promote Vertiv’s product offerings throughout the hierarchy of customer accounts;
* Utilize reporting and forecasting platforms to facilitate pipeline discipline and growth;
* Develop relationships with key stakeholders and engage with relevant content;
* Contribute to teamwork and knowledge sharing within the team and organization;
* Focus on self-growth and development through participation in company trainings;
* Bring innovative ideas for process improvements to enhance value;
* Own your job with sound ethics, responsibility, and discipline.
What will make you successful?
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a sales-focused environment;
* Commercial experience to identify and understand customers’ needs;
* Experience in the enterprise industry and sub-segments;
* Experience in commercial negotiations and stakeholder mapping;
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
* Sales background with experience in critical engineering applications;
* Planning and organizational skills;
* Influencing and negotiating skills;
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
* Ability to work proactively and in a team environment;
* Ability to represent Vertiv successfully at all levels;
* Excellent presentation skills;
* Numerate and IT literate, with a good understanding of business KPIs;
* Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively;
* Driving License.
