Major Recruitment have the pleasure of working with an industry-leading Business Solutions company. Their Managed Print Solutions team is looking for an experienced MPS Sales Specialist to join them to build the Birmingham area. This position is for the new business hunters of the world and would suit someone that has prior experience in constructing deals for the resale of printers and MFDs (Photocopiers).
The Opportunity: MPS Sales Specialist
Due to continued growth and success, a new opportunity for a Sales Specialist within the Managed Print Services team has become available.
The successful applicant will have a proven track record in the Managed Print industry and will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities and providing customers with bespoke value-added solutions.
Summary of Position:
Looking for an individual who has:
1. Experience in Field Sales of MPS Solutions and Products
2. Experience with Canon, HP, Lexmark, and Epson
3. Expertise on Hybrid mail, EDM, document workflow, Uniflow, Papercut, and Pull Print Solutions
4. A proven sales track record within the MPS sector
5. Commercial awareness and strong understanding of the MPS Industry
Main Duties:
1. Work closely with the Technology Management team and Account Managers
2. Create new opportunities across the full client customer base, ensuring resources are appropriately deployed
3. Engage with new customers to determine their printing and document management requirements, defining a solution and creating a compelling proposition, closing the deal, and providing commercial direction for the project
4. Preparing customer quotations and written proposals and responding to tenders
5. Proactively build customer contacts and rapport across a number of customers
6. Arrange and attend meetings with prospective and existing customers in order to raise awareness and sell Managed Print and Document solutions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and interact at any level.

3. A minimum of 2 years' experience in Sales and Business
4. Experience with KPIs and performance
5. Keen business acumen
6. A good understanding of Excel

8. To understand their component offerings and achieve agreed individual targets
9. Understand the clients' proposition and be able to talk fluently about this to potential clients
10. A positive and entrepreneurial attitude with the desire to succeed through hard work
