Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for Shockwave Medical Inc. a Marketing Manager UK & Ireland located in the UK.
As the Marketing Manager for UK and Ireland, the candidate will play a crucial role in driving the success and growth of Shockwave Medical in the region. The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies that align with both global objectives and local market needs. This includes planning and executing marketing campaigns, managing product launches, and collaborating closely with the sales team to ensure alignment and optimal market penetration. The candidate will also be tasked with customizing global marketing initiatives to resonate with the UK&I market, analyzing market trends, and identifying opportunities for growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the medical device industry and a passion for improving patient outcomes.
The successful candidate would be an integral member of the wider international marketing team, updating them on the local actions and ensuring alignment on the global messages and objectives for the year. There would also be opportunities to support/lead key international projects.
This role would report directly to the National Sales Manager UK&I and would have a dotted line to the International Marketing Director.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to achieve business objectives and drive market growth across UK&I in both peripheral and coronary business.
* Customize global marketing strategies to fit the specific needs and dynamics of the UK&I region.
* Together with the International team, plan and manage product launches, including pre-launch, launch, and post-launch activities.
* Work in partnership with regional leadership and reimbursement team to ensure optimum reimbursement for all Shockwave products.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, medical affairs, and regulatory affairs, to ensure alignment and execution of marketing strategies.
* Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and industry stakeholders.
* Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing initiatives, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
* Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
* Manage the marketing budget for UK&I, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
* Strong experience in marketing within the medical device or healthcare industry.
* Proven track record of successful marketing campaign development and execution.
* Strong understanding of the UK&I market and regulatory environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
* Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
* Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
* Willingness to travel as needed.
