The Role

The school is growing towards being a 2 form entry and this position is being generated to accommodate the increases in children coming into the school in Key Stage 2.

Qualifications
* 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (grade 4-9) or equivalent - Essential
* Qualified Teacher Status - Essential
* Degree in a relevant subject - Desirable
Skills
* Experience of dealing with sensitive and confidential student information - Essential
* Focused on standards and positive outcomes - Essential
Experience/Knowledge
* Knowledge and understanding of how children learn and how to motivate them - Essential
* Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection issues and procedures - Essential
* Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations and how they apply in a school environment - Desirable
* Good knowledge of up-to-date techniques, materials, and equipment relevant to the National Curriculum - Desirable
* Experience of following procedures and instructions - Essential
* Knowledge and experience of SEN code of practice and related procedures and paperwork - Desirable
* Experience working with students with diagnosed difficulties, SALT, ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia etc. - Desirable
* Experience of working in an educational environment - Desirable
