This senior Allied Health Professional (AHP) post has been created to enable an enthusiastic and innovative, HCPC registered AHP, to lead the delivery of the LSCFT AHP workforce strategy and plan.
This is a key role for the trust and requires a highly professional role model, capable of deputising internally and externally for the Director of AHPs on matters relating to the AHP workforce. You will possess the knowledge and skills to analyse and interpret workforce data, develop business cases, manage projects and facilitate change. You must be highly organised, able to manage conflicting demands and prioritise to deliver to deadlines. Networking and the ability to influence outside of your immediate team is essential.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will report directly to the Director of AHPs and work collaboratively with senior AHP leaders in LSCFT, colleagues in LSCFT and neighbouring trusts, the Lancashire and South Cumbria AHP Faculty and colleagues across the North West, the LSCFT workforce team and the AHP workforce.
LSCFT employs art therapists, dietitians, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, podiatrists and speech and language therapists to work with adults and children in mental health and community physical health services. We would welcome applicants from any of these professions.
