Wirral Dialysis Unit is the main acute renal centre on Wirral. We receive patients from the 2 other dialysis units nearby. We are a busy unit with a diverse range of patients whose needs vary immensely.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate needs to have an interest in dialysis and be motivated to learn an entire new skill set. They need to be organised with excellent communication skills.
The role involves assessing dialysis patients pre-treatment, whilst ensuring that their treatment is problem-free.
The candidate will need to have excellent time management and be able to work effectively within a team of experienced renal nurses. Full training will be given to the successful candidate.

If successful in this role, there is a requirement for you to have a standard/enhanced DBS. This will be paid for by the Trust and then deducted from your salary over a period of 3 months.
