The Role
Are you passionate about helping people and the planet? Do you want to join a team of energy efficiency experts who visit vulnerable households across the UK? If so, you might be a perfect fit for Groundwork’s Green Doctor project.
As a Green Doctor, you will work with communities in need to help them save money, stay warm and well, and reduce their environmental impact. You will also provide advice and support on energy bills, debt, switching providers, grants, and maximising income. To find out more about this exciting role, visit our website or contact us today!
1. Providing energy efficiency advice & guidance,
2. Providing basic energy saving items for people homes,
3. Assisting people in applying for grants and maximising income,
4. Delivering community training events,
5. Working with other charities and organisations to refer residents on to further services for wider energy saving and wellbeing support.
A full driving licence is essential and access to own vehicle for the role which entails travel to homes around the region.
