Job Description:
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
This is a permanent full-time position.
The shift pattern for this position is 5 days over 7.
We have an opportunity for a new graduate or an established band 5 Occupational Therapist to join the team within Greater Glasgow and Clyde Rotations. The rotation is within the acute physical service and includes a range of clinical areas such as older peoples, medical, spinal, neurology, orthopaedics and more!
Qualities:
* You must be flexible, a team player, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a keenness to contribute to the development of the services you work in as well as your own professional development.
* You must be committed to providing good quality Occupational Therapy intervention, be reflective in your practice, and have a patient-centered approach.
We are supportive of many development opportunities including the Flying Start programme and you will have access to regular on-site clinical supervision.
*This post may involve occasional weekend working to support the development of services.
It is essential you have a Diploma / Degree in Occupational Therapy with current registration with the HCPC. A current Driving License is desirable for this post. This post requires PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland Check.
