Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Creating document templates
2. Converting information from project teams into user-friendly documents
3. Numbering and labeling documents for identification and reference
4. Scanning, copying, and distributing documents to project team members and stakeholders
5. Tracking documents to maintain confidentiality
6. Reviewing documents and making revisions for accuracy
7. Liaising with project team members to ensure documents meet requirements
8. Training document specialists and other employees on document systems
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Knowledge of Microsoft Office software, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook or similar programs
2. Understanding of document control systems such as ASITE, BIW, or 4projects
3. Verbal and written communication skills
4. Clear and efficient numbering and labeling skills
5. Typing accuracy and efficiency
6. Attention to detail to ensure documents are accurate and meet specifications
7. Filing and organization skills for document storage
8. Industry-specific technical knowledge, including understanding of industry terms, policies, and processes
