The role:
As Community, Social & PR Lead, you will be instrumental in cultivating a thriving community of KOLs, advocates & influencers to generate organic buzz and referrals for Noli, while driving our public relations and affiliate marketing efforts, expanding our presence through authentic connections and earned media coverage. This role combines community building, public relations and affiliate marketing to maximise organic growth and brand loyalty. You will work closely with influencers, affiliates and prescribers to champion Noli’s brand story and values, building partnerships that drive trust, foster brand loyalty and create meaningful engagement across channels, especially on social media.
Community Building and Advocacy: Cultivating a thriving community of KOLs, advocates, and influencers to generate organic buzz and referrals.
Public Relations and Affiliate Marketing: Securing earned media coverage and developing affiliate partnerships to expand reach and drive traffic.
Key responsibilities:
•Community Strategy: Build & cultivate a loyal and active base of Noli advocates, tailoring approach & outreach across different tiers of pyramid (users, KOLs, influencers, editors and experts).
•Influencer Partnerships: Identify and collaborate with appropriate content creators, experts & influencers that can help amplify Noli’s message and reach new qualified audiences.
•Media relations: Establish strong relationships with key beauty & trade editors, journalists and bloggers to secure positive earned media coverage, product features and brand stories. Develop press releases, media kits and pitch decks that resonate with KOLs and effectively communicate Noli’s brand story and USP.
•Affiliate relationships: Build and manage affiliate program, cultivating strong relationships with beauty experts and prescribers (including Dermatologists, Medfluencers, Hairdressers & Stylists), plus appropriate affiliate networks, collaborating with them on the UX, resources and incentives needed to authentically advocate Noli.
•Reputation management: Actively monitor brand sentiment in the UK and address potential PR issues proactively, working collaboratively with our partners and investors to ensure positive brand image.
•Social engagement: Foster meaningful interactions with target users & KOLs (ie responding to comments, messages & inquiries in an authentic manner, sparking relevant beauty conversations with a Noli twist).
•Organic seeding & events: Plan and execute brand events, product seeding and BTL activations (virtual and in-person), that generate organic buzz and establish brand’s presence in UK market.
•Consumer Insights: Collate & surface feedback and sentiment analysis from UK beauty community to gain insights into market preferences, trends & user needs, that can help refine Noli positioning & uniqueness.
•Trends & Analysis: Monitor social media metrics & stay up-to-date on industry trends, analyzing performance of best-performing content, surfacing sentiment analysis on key beauty brands and competitors, to inform brand narrative & communication strategy.
Requirements:
• Strong expertise in PR, social media, community management or affiliate marketing, preferably in beauty and/or e-commerce start-up background.
•Success in building and nurturing UK-based communities and advocacy programs that drive organic engagement and brand loyalty.
•Experience managing influencers/affiliates and leveraging content creators to develop innovative social media marketing strategies.
•Knowledge of UK beauty media & social landscape, plus track record of establishing strong relationships with KOLs; demonstrating ability to forge & nurture future affiliate partnerships (and ability to drive results through strategic relationships)
•Strong social media expertise, with experience in managing owned social channels on behalf of brands incl community engagement
•Excellent written & verbal communication skills, with an ability to build relationships & craft localized messaging.
•Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment, with agility to ideate & contribute with wider Noli marketing team
