You will produce design calculations and various design documents, including P&IDs for sizing process technologies, prepare tender documents, specify and select equipment, and conduct lab and pilot scale trials. You will also be involved in business development related to the company's technologies, ensuring strong communication and interpersonal skills, and maintaining an awareness of the environmental impact of design ideas. The role will involve some travel, primarily within the UK and Ireland. What you'll need to succeed is a minimum 2.2 Honours degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or a related product design or engineering subject, and at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant industry. You should have excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills, proficiency in MS Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project), and experience with SolidWorks. A full current driving license and access to a car are essential, as is the ability to be flexible and adaptable.
