About the Role
Working as part of the Product Development team, you will use your safety, certification, and reliability expertise to ensure safety and compliance of Intelligent Energy’s commercial products for use in applications including automotive and industrial power systems.
You will play a lead role in defining and applying our product certification, safety, and RAM processes to product assessments to ensure compliance with applicable standards and legislation. You will also assess the reliability of products to advise on product reliability improvement opportunities.
About You
You will hold a BEng, BSc (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, or possess a relevant non-degree level qualification alongside suitable industrial experience. A post-graduate qualification in certification, safety, and/or RAMS engineering is advantageous but not essential.
You will have significant industrial experience in safety, certification, and RAMS, and a deep understanding of the product lifecycle process. You will be experienced in RAMS planning and assessment and producing safety cases. Previous experience within the Hydrogen sector is desirable.
You will have proven capability of applying safety and reliability tools and techniques such as FMEA, FRACAS, and FTA.
It is key to us that you have a commercial mindset and the ability to work with a flexible and solutions-focused approach in an agile and fast-paced environment. You must also be able to work collaboratively with a cross-functional team alongside both technical and non-technical colleagues. As such, excellent communication skills are vital.
