Position Overview:
We are on the lookout for a seasoned and dynamic Associate to join our growing residential conveyancing team. The ideal candidate will manage a diverse range of residential conveyancing cases and occasionally handle commercial matters. Responsibilities include:
* Handling freehold and leasehold sales/purchases
* Managing transfers of equity
* Overseeing remortgages
* Navigating stamp duty procedures
* Conducting title checks
* Preparing search reports
* Responding to enquiries
* Facilitating leasehold sales/purchases, including lease grants
* Regulating landlord and tenant relationships
* Managing lease renewals
* Drafting deeds of surrender
* Coordinating refinancing efforts
* Overseeing acquisitions and sales of businesses
* Negotiating utilities agreements
* Engaging actively in business development
* Managing all aspects of conveyancing from initiation to completion
Candidate Requirements:
The successful applicant will be highly organized, disciplined, and capable of thriving in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. You will join a supportive team and must bring substantial experience in both residential and commercial conveyancing, along with the ability to independently manage a caseload with minimal supervision.
The role demands excellent prioritization skills, proactive initiative, and a professional demeanor. While not mandatory, technical competence and a smart appearance are advantageous.
