Specialist Teaching Assistant
Protocol Education is working alongside a dynamic and outstanding school in Swindon to appoint inspiring, dedicated individuals to work in the role of Specialist Teaching Assistant.
Start Date: June 2024
Employment Type: Both full and part time available
Pay: £ - £14 (dependent on experience)
The Role:
1. Supporting teachers in ensuring all children can access their curriculum
2. Movement and handling support of pupils as needed
3. Personal and medical care for pupils as needed - training provided
4. Supervising children at lunchtimes
5. Working closely with teachers to ensure all children are supported in school

Previous experience working with SEN (specifically Autism) is preferred, however not essential. The school are more looking for people who show a genuine passion for supporting children and young people. Your personality and engaging personality will be essential to the role.
