Job description The successful candidate will be supporting Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC) in delivery of a safe and effective primary healthcare (PHC) service within the firm base at the regional level in order to enhance and sustain the operational effectiveness. The Data Management Officer (DMO) is the focal point for the management and governance of information across the Region. Working to the Operations Manager, the DMO is responsible Information Governance, acting as Data Protection Officer and assurance of the eCASE Digital Platform management. The DMO will assure appropriate registration of information assets. They will, when required, extract medical information from PowerBi Application, providing Medical Force Readiness of Regional Patient Population highlighting changes in performance data. Person specification Main details of the role include, but are not limited to: Managing data collection and management initiatives including, but not exclusively, waiting times, specialist treatments, failure to attend, utilising differing platforms. Updating and maintaining the Regional HQ SharePoint Information Pages ensuring timely updates and notices. Examining clinical data from regional areas and individual medical facilities to give timely warning of potential failure to meet objectives and Performance Indicators so that remedial action can be taken. Making recommendations for improved data management or capture which would contribute to improved delivery of PHC.
