Job Description
As an Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for:
* Managing and maintaining the purchase ledger
* Processing invoices and reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders
* Assisting in the preparation of financial reports
* Providing support to the finance team and wider business
* Handling and resolving finance-related queries
* Participating in the month-end accounting process
* Assisting in the implementation of finance systems and processes
* Maintaining confidentiality of organisational information
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
* Experience in a similar finance role
* Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
* An understanding of financial regulations and legislation
* Exceptional communication and organisational skills
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy
