We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to join one of the North East's largest and most successful housing providers.
The right candidate will be project managing and monitoring planned maintenance projects (Refurbs, adaptations, re-roofing external and internal works etc) and assisting the Planned Maintenance Manager where necessary.
Responsibilities of the Project Manager role:
1. As Project Manager/Contract Administrator you will manage the strong and effective delivery of planned investment and repairs and maintenance projects, this will include all aspects of design, contract management/ administration
2. You will act as the client within various construction projects and therefore must be familiar and comfortable managing client responsibilities within construction.
Requirements of the Project Manager role:
3. A recognised professional qualification or relevant demonstrable and relevant experience at a similar level (all in a relevant and related discipline).
4. Responsibility for Maintenance Programmes of work in a construction environment
5. Experience of delivering related construction contracts to cost, time, quality and customer satisfaction
6. Knowledge and understanding of construction techniques
