About the Role: As an Early Years Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children at the beginning of their primary journey. Working closely with teachers, you’ll provide tailored support to children, encouraging their curiosity, social skills, and development through play-based learning and hands-on activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support individual learning plans and provide one-on-one or group support
• Foster a warm and encouraging environment, promoting children’s independence and confidence
• Assist in planning and setting up engaging, age-appropriate activities
• Monitor and record children’s progress, sharing insights with teachers and parent
About You:
• A passion for working with young children and understanding of early childhood development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive and patient approach to meeting each child’s unique needs
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Early Years Education) preferred but not essential
