About the Role Position : General Teacher (Temporary or Permanent) Location : Basingstoke Hours : Full-time (or 4 days per week) Start Date : ASAP This school provides a nurturing and supportive environment for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and other associated behaviours. They are looking for a versatile teacher to deliver lessons across various subjects, tailored to meet the individual needs of their learners. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects, aligned with students' needs and abilities. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment to encourage student engagement. Adapt teaching strategies to support students with SEMH and other SEND diagnoses. Work collaboratively with a dedicated team to support each student’s educational and emotional development. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification. Experience working in education, preferably with SEND students. Ability to adapt lessons to meet the varying needs of students. Strong classroom management and communication skills.
