Purpose Nissan seeks a candidate to support the Legal Department in a 12-month, fixed term, placement in Cranfield, Bedfordshire to support the business to achieve the company objectives by providing strategic legal support on various legal and commercial issues. Candidates will gain valuable knowledge of how Nissan functions and increase their awareness of the automotive industry. Main Tasks & Responsibilities To further enhance its contribution to the business, the European Legal Team now seeks to recruit an Industrial Placement Student/ Paralegal to support legal counsel on a broad range of commercial matters. Reviewing, negotiating, and drafting various commercial contracts. Assisting key stakeholders with on-going contract management. Undertaking research and administrative duties. Providing first class legal support on all matters relating to the business. What you will need to be successful This role would suit a 2nd year law degree student looking to take a placement year within industry or someone who has recently completed their Legal Practice Course with experience of general contract and commercial law. Passion and motivation, plus a hardworking and flexible attitude are vital. Sufficient evidence of your right to work in the UK will be required.
