We are currently recruiting to a full time permanent Administrative Assistant to the Cared For Children Health Team based at a community site.
This post is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, committed, and experienced administrator. You will be a key member of the safeguarding and looked after children service that consists of Named Nurses (community, acute, adult and midwifery services), Specialist Nurses for Safeguarding, and Looked after Children, Multi-Agency Safeguarding and Complex Safeguarding Hub Specialist Nurses and Administration staff.
Main duties of the job
1. To succeed, you will need excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
2. Develop and maintain recording and administrative systems to support safeguarding processes.
3. Undertake general office duties as required including filing, photocopying, collating, and distributing information, receipt, and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail (paper and electronic).
4. Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external partner agencies and services.
5. Comfortable working under pressure, adept at prioritising and ability to work to tight deadlines.
6. Participate in annual appraisals and regular management one to one reviews, as well as attend relevant mandatory and other training pertinent to the role.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Good standard of education at GCSE or equivalent level
* International Computer Driving Licence / IT Qualification
Knowledge and Experience
* Previous experience within an office/administration environment
* Good knowledge of Microsoft
* Experience in the use of databases
* Experience of maintaining robust filing systems (paper and electronic)
* Understanding of the importance of maintaining confidentiality and data protection
* Previous experience within a health care setting
* Knowledge of EMIS and/or Child Health System
