This is a hands-on role involving both office-based responsibilities and frequent visits to nationwide project sites. You will oversee and support the electrical elements of solar and wind projects, from design and installation to maintenance and optimisation.Key Responsibilities Deliver High and Low Voltage (HV/LV) electrical installation work as needed across projectsSupport and perform planned/reactive maintenance on operational sitesLead or assist in electrical design (HV and LV), plant specification, and coordination with external HV design partnersAnalyse site performance data to identify opportunities for optimisationProactively diagnose and resolve electrical faultsProduce high-quality designs, technical reports, and documentationParticipate in rota-based remote monitoring of renewable energy sites, including occasional weekend coverEssential Requirements City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent)Level 3 Technical/Vocational Qualification or DiplomaBS7671 18th Edition certificationStrong attention to detail with a methodical and process-driven approachEffective communication and organisational skillsCompetent IT skills and computer literacyFull UK Driving LicenceFlexibility to travel and work across the UK, including evenings/weekends when requiredDesired Skills & Qualifications High Voltage experiencePrevious work in PV system design, installation, and maintenanceExperience with onshore wind installationsProficiency in AutoCADFamiliarity with communications/network setupHV Authorised Person / Switching Course18th Edition Amendment 2 certificationWhy Join Us?
