Overview
The Bus Driver plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of passengers to their designated locations. This position requires a responsible individual who possesses strong driving skills and excellent communication abilities. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding to ensure that the bus is always in optimal condition for operation.
Duties
* Safely operate the bus along designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is functioning properly, identifying any mechanical issues that may arise.
* Maintain a clean and organised bus interior for passenger comfort and safety.
* Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, especially those with disabilities or special needs.
* Keep accurate records of incidents, and any other relevant documentation as required by management.
Skills
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with passengers and team members.
* Ability to drive safely under various conditions while maintaining focus on passenger safety.
* A valid PSV D driving licence is essential for this role.
* Excellent organisational skills to manage time effectively and adhere to schedules.
* Up to date CPC.
* Digital Tachograph.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
